Everyone comments on how Parker looks like Ric. It's true, our little man bears many a resemblance to his daddy. My favorite, is the famous "Reyes furrowed brow" Check it out:

However, I was a little sad that I couldn't see any of ME in Parker. I know, he's only nine weeks old. And there's so much about our little Bubba that we haven't discovered yet... so there are still thousands of things that Parker might've inherited from me that we don't know about yet.
Still. I want some part of our son to look like me now.
Well... I was looking through some old baby pictures and it turns out we have a few resemblances...
And our newborn picture in the hospital:

ReplyDeleteI have to admit, Meg, it's still tough for me to grasp that my closest friend for the longest time is a Mommy at all, but I sure can't deny the resemblance in those photos! :) It bums me out that I'm not there to see him growing up firsthand, but I'm glad to watch through your posts. :)
I love the crying photos!! I thought there was a resemblance in your newborn photos. It's amazing seeing them next to each other. A cute post! ☺
